Start with the full cost
Ask for the price, currency, payment schedule and every known transaction charge. Include recurring maintenance, community and service costs in your budget. A purchase price alone does not tell the whole story.
Understand who is responsible
Identify the seller, the owner, the developer and any agent. Ask which party contracts with you and what authority the agent has to represent the property.
Look beyond the photographs
Arrange an inspection where possible. Ask about condition, utilities, access, dimensions and permitted use. For off-plan property, distinguish renders from completed work and review the delivery schedule.
Review the documents
Use qualified local professionals to review ownership, title, permissions, contract terms and any restrictions relevant to your situation. A listing badge is not a substitute for legal review.
